Electric, Non-electric Stainless Steel Tea Kettle Options
Stainless steel tea kettles are high quality, built usually with tight-fitting lids that help ensure your liquid stays hot. These kettles are often very useful because they heat up quickly, speeding up the process to getting your tea ready. The stainless steel kettles are available in a variety of styles, shapes and colors and can even come with engraved patterns. In general, there are two types of kettles, electric and non-electric.
Electric stainless steel tea kettles have an insulated handle to ensure you can pick up the kettle without worry of burning. These kettles are powered by electricity and often have an automatic shut off when water starts to boil to prevent the water boiling away and ruining the tea kettle.
The other option is non-electric stainless steel tea kettles. These options are often seen in a more traditional environment as they are heated by placing them on a stove top. While they typically have a handle on the lid to carry them, these stainless steel tea kettles should be used with some precaution as they can heat up very quickly.
